Des cieux irréels
Après Vaasa, je remonte au nord, traverse la Laponie et retourne aux îles Lofoten en Norvège, îles quittées précipitamment en 2013 après une semaine de tempête. Cette fois, la météo est plus clémente et les paysages sont superbes. Surtout, je prends un rythme pour me lever et me coucher tard et rouler jusqu’au milieu de la nuit, presque jusqu’à l’aurore. Au mois de septembre, les nuits sont noires et il est possible d’apercevoir des aurores boréales. Les aurores arrivent avant l’aurore et le spectacle est au rendez-vous. Quatre nuits de suite, je pédale sous des cieux irréels et fous. Je me meus lentement et m’émeus à la vue de ces extraordinaires lumières verdâtres mouvantes sur fond de montagnes et de fjords. C’est presque surnaturel et je dois rouler lentement pour ne pas avoir le souffle coupé !
