Meeting at sea
That moment when you passed challenging days at sea, with monotonous food, water rationing, and hard work to move a boat in the direction you wish. That moment when you finally see a piece of land on the horizon. That moment when you are about to meet the unknown is when local people come to you to greet you, to offer fresh food from their modest produce, and a safe welcome to their shores. That moment when you realize that no matter how challenging is your path, it is full of unexpected moments, and only just that makes it worth it all.

My name is Daniel and I am originally from a small town in Spain. I am on my way to cross the Pacific Ocean on a sailing boat, using as much as I can clean energy. I move with the wind of course, but also using only solar electricity on board. I recycle the water I use and reduce it to the maximum. I am growing a few herbs on the deck and eating local produce that I buy (sometimes they just offered it for free... How wonderful people I've found out there). I am on this mission to raise awareness on how a more sustainable lifestyle is possible, and how we can all contribute to making that happen. I raise funds to make this possible and be able afterward to share this experience and inspire others. Thanks for joining me.
