During that sheep count with my host family, I got the chance to see the sheep closely, something new for me. Each flock has its own rebels, those who behave differently, the misfits...Sometimes I feel like that too. We did the count several times to ensure we've got the right number. Each time these sheep were trying to escape their flock. Count after count they never gave up. Maybe next time they will succeed? It makes me think about how important is to try new things, to give it a go, even with all the odds against us. Why not?

We are a French couple, traveling from home to the East. We would like to show that generosity and solidarity still exist everywhere, regardless of language, culture, and borders. The rules for this adventure are 1. only local transport allowed (no flights, no car rentals.. just bus, train, hitchhike), 2. only sleeping at local homes ( we couch surf, we help exchange... no hotels at all), 3. Eat local (avoid processed, industrial, imported food).
