I am Anna from Germany. I left my privileged life in Berlin to spend 500 days in India, as a volunteer teacher for underprivileged children. Off the tourist track, was a trip of deep discoveries, both of their culture and of myself. I've volunteered in 6 schools on my route from Kochi to Darjeeling. I keep fundraising for them to build a library in each one of them where children and the rest of the community can access to literature, information, and inspiration.
